IRIS DI SILVERIO

Sapienza University, Rome, Italy

Dr Iris Di Silverio is a highly motivated Biotechnology graduate with a strong passion for Bioinformatics and molecular analysis. She graduated from Sapienza University of Rome with a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, where she specialized in the development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for predictive and analytical programs related to Protein Contact Networks, under the guidance of Professor Paiardini. This experience provided her with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of Bioinformatics, Python and Biotechnology. Currently enrolled in the Master's Degree program in Biochemistry at Sapienza University of Rome, Iris is committed to further expanding her knowledge and skills. Her main objective is to enhance her proficiency in R and Python programming languages, with a specific focus on implementing tools for protein analysis and molecular docking. Iris aims to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that can advance protein research and drug discovery. She possesses expertise in Bioinformatics, including protein contact network prediction and molecular docking. Her programming skills in R and Python enable her to develop efficient and robust tools for data processing and visualization. Additionally, she has a strong background in data analysis, experimental design, and literature review. She is poised to contribute significantly to research and development initiatives aimed at unraveling the complexities of proteins and advancing drug discovery efforts.
