Maria Bošković is a molecular biologist and a PhD student at the Laboratory for Cancer Research, University of Split School of Medicine, Croatia, with a scientific focus on epigenetics, aging and cancer. She was previously engaged in research in projects "BBMRI - Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure – Large prospective Cohorts” and „A new generation of high throughput glyco-services". Maria is a recipient of an EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant and professionally trained at International Agency Research on Cancer (World Health Organization) in Epigenetics Group in Lyon, France. She is also actively engaged in science popularization through workshops and science-popular presentations. Maria has six peer-reviewed publications and contributed to writing two book chapters in the epigenetics field (Herceg, Boskovic, Sincic in Medicinska genetika u kliničkoj praksi, 1st edition, Medicinska naklada, 2021; Vanzan, Sklias, Boskovic et al in Handbook of Epigenetics, 2nd edition, Elsevier, 2021; in press).
