Sara Baldinelli

Sara Baldinelli is an undergraduate student in Bioinformatics from Sapienza University of Rome. Throughout her academic journey, Sara has had the invaluable opportunity to gain proficiency in a wide range of essential tools for her field. These include programming languages like Python and R, as well as specialized software such as PyMOL for structural bioinformatics and FlowJo for immunology analysis. Sara has been actively involved in representing the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine, serving as an orientation guide for her course. Additionally, she has taken on the role of a tutor, providing academic support and guidance to her peers. Currently, Sara is undertaking a challenging and exciting internship at the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute, where she has the opportunity to work in a team of bioinformaticians. She is immersed in a research project where she is working on the Whole Transcriptome Profiling of Osteosarcoma via Differential Expression Analysis, Microenvironment Deconvolution and Network Analysis.
